Mauricio Náder (piano) TOQUE LATINOAMERICANO! Music by Ponce (Mexico), Villa-Lobos (Brazil), López Gavilán (Cuba), del Águila (Uruguay), Aranda (Mexico) and Ginastera (Argentina).
Mexican pianist Mauricio Náder (b. 1967) presented his first piano recital at the age of nine years old and ten years later debuted at Mexico's Palacio de Bellas Artes as a soloist with the National Symphony Orchestra. Winner of the First Prize in the International "Bartók-Kabalevsky" Piano Competition (1996), Mr. Náder studied at the National Music Conservatory (Mexico), the University of Houston (BM) and the Eastman School of Music (MM), where he was unanimously awarded the Performers' Certificate. He studied under Carlos Bueno, María Teresa Rodríguez, Nancy Weems and Anton Nel.
